Kara Zarr

Kara Zarr is the newest member of the Hunters Creek training team. Kara began riding at age 7 in the Powell, Ohio area. She showed Hunter Ponies (Small, Medium, Large) competing at many A circuit shows and qualifying for the AHSA Pony Finals in 1985. As her showing career progressed Kara moved on to the Children's Hunter and Junior Divisions, showing across the Midwest. Having competed in equitation and hunters for years, she turned her attention to the Jumpers where she showed for 3 years. In addition to her show experience, Kara was also employed by Darby Dan Farms as a thoroughbred exercise rider for 3 years, earning the privilege of riding fillies and colts by such notable stallions as Alydar and Roberto. Kara is a versatile trainer who caters to the needs of each individual student from beginner to advanced whether the goal of the rider is to show on the A circuit or simply ride for pleasure and gain a better understanding of horses in general.
